Parent Information

We would find it very difficult to achieve any of our aims without parental support.  We work with you in partnership to support the development of your child.  We operate an 'open door' policy; if you wish to discuss anything with your child's teacher or the Headteacher please just ask and we will arrange an appointment. There is an opportunity for you to discuss your child's progress in a more formal way during parent consultations.  A written yearly report which summarises your child's progress is sent home before the summer holidays.

We welcome parent volunteers into the school.  There are numerous ways to help with children's learning, including listening to children read and assisting on school trips.

All parent volunteers will be required to have a current certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service relating to a child workforce.  The school is able to assist with the forms and identification required to obtain the certificate.

You can also help by supporting our  Parent School Association (PSA).  They organise various activities throughout the year to raise much needed funds for the school.  They are always on the lookout for willing volunteers and new ideas.  Fundraising has enabled the school to purchase outdoor adventure playground equipment, new books, friendship benches, sheds to store PE and playtime equipment and ICT equipment.
