Writing at Peasmarsh
At Peasmarsh we write a lot and about all sorts of things. We are all authors and find our inspiration from our environment, our experiences and from the books that we read together.
Vision
At Peasmarsh Church of England Primary School, the curriculum is solidly rooted in our vision statement:
“Love Learning and Love your Neighbour as Yourself”
(Mark 12:31)
Our Writing curriculum complements the Church of England ‘Vision for Education’ which
‘embraces the spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, moral and social development of children and young people….a vision of human flourishing for all, one that embraces excellence and academic rigour, but sets them in a wider framework’

Curriculum Overview
Our Writing is closely linked to the quality class text that we study each term. Whilst reading our class text, we write for purpose and learn about different styles of writing.
