Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school.
Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. Ofsted will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.
You can watch a screencast demonstrating how to register and complete a survey on Parent View on their website.
By sharing your views, you’ll be helping us to improve. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about our school or, if you want to, view the results for any school in England.
Parent View can be completed at any time during the year. If you choose to update your responses for a school more than once in an academic year, the previous results will be overwritten so that only one ‘view’ for each parent, per school, is held.
To register on the Parent View site, parents or carers must initially enter an email address, and confirm that they are a parent or carer. You will also be asked to clarify how many schools your children attend (allowing for different children at different schools). An email is then sent to the email address you entered to verify the account. On verification, you will then be asked to select a secure password for your account.
