I really enjoy working at Peasmarsh School because every day is different and exciting. The children make me laugh and I like to hear the stories that they tell me. When I am not at school, I like to spend time with my family and my two little dogs. I love reading all sorts of books and finding out about the world.

At Peasmarsh School the children are passionate and enjoy learning so I find working here very rewarding.

Each and every day is fresh and exciting as the children are full of independent  ideas. The individual personalities bring a rich learning culture to our classroom.

When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I enjoy the outdoors and exploring new places in the world with my family.

I was born in Norway but also spent my childhood in  Germany, Belgium and Cyprus. I came to England when I was 19. In Cyprus, I was part of the Cyprus Equestrian  Federation Show Jumping Team. It was very exciting but I swapped my horses for family life and had three children.

Mrs Sarah Blackman - KS1 teacher

I started teaching at Peasmarsh in September 2017 and have enjoyed getting to know the children across the school. They are always full of creativity and take pride in their learning. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our cat, Fluff. I also enjoy reading, including children’s books, and finding exciting stories to share with my class.
